A sweet natured Charlie (Freddie Highmore) along with four other children, wins a visit to a mysterious candy factory, run by Wonka (Johnny Depp). Tim Burton's tale is darker than the Gene Wilder version. This version should be hugely inventive and atmospheric. The plot is suppose to contain positive messages about family and loyalty though. There are perils that might upset some youngsters. So be sure and check it out first before taking your youngsters to be on the safe side.
