In this fun movie about Pooh, Piglet and the whole gang from the Hundred Acre Wood, makes for some laughs and a learning experience for kids. This time it's Roo the tiny son of Kanga, who stars. When a heffalump, a creature that ends up being lavender colored elephant tromps through the neighborhood, everyone goes nuts.

Rabbit organizes a party and heads out to capture this seemingly dangerous creature. Roo wants to go but everyone tells him he is too young. So he heads out alone and ends up meeting a young heffalump nicknamed Lumpy. The two soon become friends. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang run into obstacles as they search for the dreaded heffalumps. There is some wonderful music by Carly Simon and this pleasant outing is perfect for the kiddies. (See DVD reviews for new Pooh entry)
