Season two aired from 1965 to 1966 and contains some of the best episodes. The special DVD features include an introduction by Sherwood Schwartz (series creator) and Russell Johnson (The Professor). There is also audio commentary by Sherwood Schwartz on one of the top episodes "The Little Dictator". The series will always hold its charm and appeal; it's a timeless comedy that can be enjoyed by the entire family.

Although most of you know this, Gilligan's Island centers on a colorful group of castaways who are shipwrecked on an uncharted desert island after their small charter boat, the SS Minnow, is caught in a terrible storm. The show focuses on the castaways' futile attempts to get off the island. This is a delight to see a series I so enjoyed watching as a 20 something fellow and color TV was so new.
