| "Bunk Bed Brothers" comedy at American Heartland Theatre in Crown Center
runs through June 17th, 2007.
This was such an enjoyable comedy to see and just let your hair down. Two adult brothers return home for their grandparents anniversary and of course stay in their old room together which is still the same. Nothing has been moved out or changed. They re-live all their games, toys, scary feelings, hurts and joys. They escape back to their childhood. The jokes are many. It is well written and directed by 2 stand-up comics who also have received awards for their work on such shows as Seinfield, etc. The co-writers and co-directors are Pat Hazell and Matt Goldman. They did such a great job on this play.
Craig Benton from the play "Leaving Iowa" and John Mueller , Buddy from "Buddy Holly Story" are the two brothers. They are tops in my book for acting. They handle the jokes so well that you get absorbed into their rivalry as most kids do. You need to come and enjoy this play especially in the comfortable American Heartland Theatre. You may bring you beverage into the theatre to enjoy. Also the parking is FREE.
