Jeanne Beechwood opens her 20th season with this Christmas offering. This marks the 3rd year at their new location at Metcalf South. Plans call for renovation with a new stage and auditorium to seat 249. The present stage will remain for children's' shows.
The current production features an operatic spoof of the Nutcracker with a confrontation between the nutcracker and the Mousekateers and wild Dance of the Sugar Prune Fairies. Martin City's famous Water Glass Symphony will be included in their holiday review. This routing yielding beautiful music from various shaped glasses filled to different levels with water is always a highlight of the show.
