Are you ready to try a brand new gourmet buffet? Try Cinzetti's!
Last Friday I ventured out with my wife, son-in-law, and three kids and stumbled upon a real gem, Cinzetti's Italian Market Restaurant at the corner of 91st and Metcalf, formerly the site of the Glenwood Theatre. General Manager Scott Lloyd, and managers Tammy Woosley and Tony Pera greeted us after our meal. They explained the all-you can-eat restaurant seats 450 in seven dining rooms. Fourteen chefs work at exhibition cooking stations, preparing dishes as needed. We were seated promptly and received excellent service from Jason Helmer. The selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks offered great variety. The kids tried the Italian soda and Slurpies. After taking our drink order, we piled into the great food. The piazza or central serving area is divided into different stations: salad/antipasto, rotisserie grill, soup, pasta, pizza, the gelato and bakery area, etc. Up to 80 items are served, including my favorites: fettuccini alfredo, crispy fried cod, house Italian salad, hand dipped Gelato, and Tiramisu.
Prices and the number of items being served vary depending on when you go. Lunch costs $8.95 Monday through Friday. Dinner Monday through Thursday is $11.95, while dinner Friday through Sunday costs $14.95. They also offer a Saturday and Sunday brunch for $11.95 with added crepes and omelets etc. Kids under 3 eat free and those older are discounted. Seniors also get a discount. You won't believe this outstanding new restaurant.
