I popped in the new Avril Lavigne cd and heard "The Best Damn Thing" I had ever heard!
This album is everything you would expect from Avril! Catchy upbeat, rock/pop songs filled with some "hey hey's and ho ho's"! The Napanee, Ontario native has just released her third studio album which she is extremely proud of. "My last record had songs that were, like, so literal," Lavigne says, "I was sick of the down, depressing relationship songs. I'm so not there anymore." As I love all of the songs on the album, some of my favorites are "I Can Do Better", "Girlfriend", and "Contagious". This is definitely an album to add to your collection. You should also pick up the Limited Edition album which includes a DVD packed full of exclusive photos and behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the album.
