Reuniting all the big players for the fourth installment of "Fast & Furious" seems to be a success. Following a prosperous run at hijacking fuel tanks on the highways of the Dominica Republic, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) flees town as he is now an international criminal, leaving his love Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) behind. Dominic has left Letty hoping she will find a safer life for herself away from him, only to find out that is not so. When he receives a call from his sister Mia (Jordana Brewster), who regrettably informs him that Letty was murdered. Once rage and grief takes over Toretto can no longer stay away and returns home in search of Letty’s killer.

Of course the police are staking out and searching for Toretto assured he will be returning home. The officer on the case is no other than Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker), his nemesis from the original. He is now an FBI agent and is waiting for Toretto’s return so he can arrest him for his crimes. As Brian and Dominic are both on the same search for Letty’s murderer we see their paths eventually cross. Both are out for justice for her murder, but in two very different ways. Brian receives information leading to David Park (Ron Yuan), which is where he finds Toretto. Dominic and Brian are led to the underground entrance race that guarantees them a spot on the team that traffics heroin across the United States-Mexico border. Dominic and Brian outlast all of their competitors during the race, until the two of them remain and head towards the finish line neck and neck. Of course Dominic is not going to loose out on this opportunity for revenge and sideswipes Brian’s car ensuring that he comes in first. Brian uses his influence at the FBI to ensure that one of the other members on the team, Dwight (Greg Cipes), gets arrested for distribution of meth, in order to gain a spot on the team. At a party, Ramon Campos (John Ortiz), Braga’s right hand man, welcomes them to the team and gives them a GPS that will alert them to where they will begin their race. As they learn more about the race and Toretto views the cars he realizes that the person who murdered Letty is Fenix (Laz Alonso), the owner of the car that was proven to be at the site on the night of her murder. What happens next is surprising and worth seeing.

All the original stars come out at full force. Vin Diesel steps back to the lead role in a big way and it was great to see him on-screen again. Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster stepped back into their old roles flawlessly. Much more enjoyable than the previous two attempts, with better performances and eye catching vehicles. "Fast & Furious" was a thrilling ride with high speed chases and action packed fighting that will satisfy any appetite. Race to theatres to catch this one.
