| A talking dog from another planet (voiced by Matthew Broderick) becomes friends with a boy (Liam Aiken). Molly Shannon and Devin Nealon also star in this funny film. It is a heartwarming movie the whole family should enjoy about a boy and his dog updated to an out-of-this-world adventure. The boy is Owen Baker (Liam Ailen), a 12-year old loner who has been working as the neighborhood dog-walker so he can earn the privilege of getting a dog of his own. This happens when his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Baker (Molly Shannon and Kevin Nealon), let Owen adopt a scruffy mutt he names Hubble (voiced by Matthew Broderick). Then one morning Owen wakes up to discover he can understand the dog including the phrase "Take me to your leaders." This leads to meeting a whole raft of dogs from another planet and the fun begins. Nice to know a good clean comedy for kids and families is out there to enjoy. |
