Jason Bourne is reborn in Bourne Ultimatum and it proves that sometimes the third time is a charm. Picking right up from where Bourne Supremacy left off three years ago. We find Mr. Bourne (Matt Damon) on the run in Moscow. Once again we witness a high intense and action packed chase sequence. This will be one of many in this film. Bourne soon begins reliving the past he forgot and becomes desperate, more than ever, to discover the truth about his identity. Shortly after these flashes start, Bourne plans to meet up with a reporter who may have details on who he is. Not only details on Bourne’s identity but also on the top secret CIA organization known as Blackbryar.

Unfortunately, after instructing the reporter he is being followed and that he knows too much information and that there is a good chance he will likely be killed, he gets a little freaked out and in the process is assassinated by a sniper. Bourne gets a key piece of evidence that leads him in the direction he needs to go. He soon heads towards an agent by the name of Neal Daniels (Colin Stinton), a CIA agent involved in the Blackbryar project. There Bourne meets up with agent Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles), and to his surprise is willing to risk her life and career to help him escape and discover who he is.

Eventually this story comes full circle. We learn who Jason Bourne is and we end up where we started. But this film does not wrap up the story with a pretty little bow. Action, action and more action is what you get for a good couple hours. The hand held camera shots were good, but in some shots were a little too much to handle. I found the acting to be great. It was not over dramatized and I think Matt Damon came into his own in this film. He has taken this role to a whole new level. Julia Stiles added in made for a great accomplice. A few of the stunts in this film I found to be unrealistic. I was sitting on my seat during all the thrilling chases and found myself wanting more. Bourne Ultimatum turned out to be a great trilogy in the series and I am hoping for another one. Judging by the crowd’s reaction at this screening I am not the only one. 3.5 out of 4 stars!!
