Regina (Anna Paquin), her younger brother Paul, and parents Mark (Lain Glen) and Maria (Lena Olin), have just moved into a beautiful, old house in the country. They came for peace and tranquility, but found a horrifying secret that has been buried for years. The house suddenly becomes terrifying. It seems decades ago, the house was the site of a ritual gone awry - one that could spread evil to the ends of the earth. Several were to be sacrificed, but one got away. Now the spirit is angered and no one is safe. Every time the lights go out something terrifying happens. To survive, they must stop something they can't even see. Juame Balaguero directs this horror flick, which has some scary moments but not up to par of some of the classics. Still it will scare you.
