Percy Jones (Bernie Mac) is the protective father who looks after his daughter's best interest. Zoe Saldana plays Theresa. When Theresa brings her new boyfriend, Simon Green (Ashton Kutcher) home to meet Percy and his wife Marilyn (Judith Scott), he is unaware that Simon has already proposed to Theresa and plans to announce the engagement at Percy and Marilyn's 25th Anniversary party.

Percy checks up on the young man and is happy with his credentials but expects him to be a combination of Denzel Washington, Tiger Woods, and Colin Powell. When a white Caucasian arrives at his house, Bernie goes nuts and the fun begins. I laughed at the interplay and think anyone should enjoy this fun film.
