| This sequel picks up the story shortly after FBI Agent Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock) disarmed a threat during the Miss United States Pageant while working undercover as a contestant.
Things are not going so well for her now. Reeling from a broken romance and frustrated to find her newfound fame is jeopardizing the undercover work she loves, Gracie lets her boss, Agent McDonald (Ernie Hudson), talks her into serving the bureau in a different way. She is a on the talk show circuit as the "the face of the FBI" and the poster girl for the agency. A personal stylist Joel (Diedrich Bader) is hired to smooth her rougher edges. Her new partner Sam Fuller (Regina King), a tough ambitious agent who thinks of her as a FBI Barbie doll.
But things heat up as two of her best friends are kidnapped in Las Vegas: pageant winner Cheryl Frazier and emcee Stan Fields (Heather Burns and William Shatner). I am a big Shatner fan and this twist satisfied me.
Will Gracie save the day? Stop by your favorite theatre and find out. I think you will find it quite satisfying.
