This may sound like a theme you have seen before but this time Disney focuses on a high-school bookworm who is transformed into a swan. Brainy Casey Carlyle (Michelle Trachtenberg) has never quite fit in. Her strong willed mother played by Joan Cusack has her on a fast track for Harvard. But she dreams of becoming a championship figure skater. She follows three elite skating prodigies who are ruthlessly competing on the US National circuit. But when she has the chance to train with one of these Gen (Hayden Panettiere) and her mother, disgraced former skating champion played by Kim Cattrall.

She finds herself in a position to dash her mom's hopes in order to pursue her dream. With only the support of Gen's teenage brother, a hunky Zamboni driver (Trevor Blumas), Casey fight thre challenge of her life to become a a real "ice princess". Seems like a lot we have seen before, but it is still a good clean movie of finding your dream? Come and find out as she battles with the best.
