John Travolta is back as Chili Palmer in a sequel to the comedy smash "Get Shorty". This time a hot cast includes Uma Thurman, Vince Vaughn, Cedric the Entertainer, Andre Benjamin, Steven Tyler, Robert Pastorelli, Christina Milian, Harvey Keitel, The Rock, James Woods and Danny DeVito.

This time Chili becomes a different kind of "Hit" man and decides to get out of the movie business and try his hand in the music business. When a friend is knocked off while at lunch, Chili takes the opportunity to visit his friend's wife, Edie (Thurman), and make a bid to be her business partner in the music business. With a promising new female pop star in the making, Chili has to battle her manager (Vaughn), his muscle bodyguard (The Rock), Russian mobsters, and an eloquent gangster music producer (Cedric) to save the label and land a hit. Meanwhile he has to dodge bullets himself.

Travolta is his cool self and even manages to do a sexy dance with Uma Thurman. It is fun to see Aerosmith in concert. The whole film is a great piece of eye candy with many LA sites and a lot of music and action.
