After 18 years of marriage, a housewife (Kimberly Elise) is tossed out of the house after her attorney husband (Steve Harris) announces he wants a divorce to marry one of her close friends.

She moves in with her wild grandmother (Tyler Perry) who adds a lot of comedy to the film. Based on a popular play written by Perry, this film mixes comedy with drama in a winning way covering a lot of ground. The film features gospel music and messages about turning your life over to God.
