| Reminiscent of the excellent surfer film "Endless Summer", this new documentary by director Dana Brown is a pleasure to watch. A good soundtrack, great cinematography, uplifting stories, and interesting narration keep it above the waves. Perhaps the most dramatic scene is at the end involving a team of surfers using Jet Skis to catch the sixty-foot waves they find in the middle of the ocean. Also enjoy the wild women surfers of Tahiti, follow a surfing Vietnam Vet returning to Danang with his young son. Also join Catholic and Protestant kids surfing harmoniously in Ireland. This basic theme rings true: Love conquers all. This is a winner! |
