Keanu Reeves stars as John Constantine who was born with a gift allowing him to recognize the half-breed angels and demons that walk the earth in human form. Based on a popular comic character, Constantine is no saint. Disillusioned by the world around him he is a hard drinking, chain smoking, bitter hero who patrols the earthly border between heaven and hell, hoping in vain to earn his way to salvation by sending the devil's foot soldiers back to hell.

When his path crosses police detective Angela Dodson (Rachel Weisz) she enlists his help in solving the mysterious death of her twin sister. Their investigation takes them through the world of demons and angels that exist just beneath the landscape of L.A. I especially enjoyed the great special effects as Constantine battles the demons. Be sure to stay through the end credits for a special scene.
