Top-notch actors Robert De Niro, Dakota Fanning, Elisabeth Shue, and Famke Janssen work together well in a frightening horror film.

The movie going public flocked to theatres the first week out giving it top spot. After the suicide of his wife, psychologist David Callaway (Robert De Niro) decides to move to the country with his young daughter Emily (Dakota Fanning) for a fresh start. They move into an old mansion.

Emily develops an imaginary friend called Charlie and strange things begin to happen. When a beautiful, curvaceous local divorcee (Elizabeth Shu) shows an interest in David, Charlie gets jealous. Young Dakota Fanning is genuinely creepy and seems to hold her own in any movie she does. Check it out if you like the horror genre. It was not bad at all.
