Ice Cube scores big with the kids in this hilarious comedy about a bachelor who agrees to drive the two children of his new girlfriend (Nia Long) on a cross-country trip. Everything that can go wrong does.

Several of my grand kids were with me at a recent screening and loved the film. Some critics have panned the film, citing the kids were too cruel. I didn't feel this was a problem. Ice Cube hung in there with all the pranks the kids pulled showing patience and a real desire to do the right thing.

One of my favorite scenes was the one with a deer, who seemed friendly until one of the kids took a picture and the flash turned the deer into a wild thing. Go see the film and see why it was #1 at the box office its first week out of the chute.
