Dennis Quaid plays a middle-aged ad executive caught in a corporate takeover who winds up working for a young sprout half his age. This film follows two men - Dan Foreman (Quaid) a 51-year-old sports-magazine ad executive and the other, Carter Duryea (Topher Grace) 25 years younger who finds himself the boss after a corporate takeover.

Dan has a beautiful wife Ann (Marg Helgenberger) and two daughters, college-age Alex (Scarlett Johansson) and a high school student Jana (Zena Gray) along with a beautiful home in the suburbs. Dan finds himself demoted to a wingman. In Good Company is about many things - a love story between Alex and Carter that happened under Dan's nose, a struggle on many levels involving job security and other issues.

This was a great role for Dennis Quaid. Instead of playing hero in science fiction films and action adventures, this allowed Quaid to show versatility and some great acting. Topher Grace aced his part and Scarlett Johansson was very good. This one is a winner folks that should be seen.
