Following up the 2000 hit "Meet the Parents" Universal unleashed another
hit with an expanded cast. Starring are Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Dustin
Hoffman, Blyth Danner, Teri Polo and Barbra Streisand. Jay Roach directs this
fast paced comedy.
The initial success has propelled this comedy to close to the $200 million
mark. The picture picks up Greg Focker (Stiller) with his soon-to-be in-laws,
Jack (De Niro) and Dina (Banner) Byrnes and his fiancée Pam (Polo). Now it is
time to meet Greg's parents Bernie and Roz Focker (Hoffman and Streisand). You
can imagine what happens when the hyper-relaxed Fockers meet the tightly
wound Byrneses. The result makes for some very funny comedy. You should get your kicks from the Fockers.
