| This big screen debut of the popular TV show for kids is fun and full of Puns. It is geared to both children and adults alike, similar to so many of the recent animated hits. Bob goes on an undersea and overland adventure with his pal starfish, Patrick, to find King Neptune's missing crown. They run into many obstacles along the way with slapstick popping up all over. My favorite part is watching them going crazy while consuming an ice cream treat throwing it everywhere. The bad guy is the pintsized Mr. Plankton whose tiny size doesn't hold back mammoth ambitions. He is the cad who stole the crown and framed Bob's boss.
This is very similar to the TV show with many of the same characters and much of the humor that has made it so popular. But live action is added in with "Baywatch" veteran David Hasselhoff coming to the rescue of our animated friends.  |
