| Renee Zellweger, Hugh Grant, and Colin Firth star in a comedy best loved by the women. Who couldn't help loving Renee as Bridget Jones? This time around Bridget is ecstatic about her boyfriend Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) and nothing could be better. The story takes place just four weeks after the first film ended.
Bridget now has a new job as a TV news reporter at the same station her former boss Daniel (Hugh Grant) works.
Things seem fine for a while, however, her jealousy over Mark's pretty co-worker and Bridget'sr cavorting with old heartthrob Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) threaten to upend her dream. Follow this fun from the streets of London to the slopes of the Alps and the shores of Thailand. Bridget will amaze and amuse you. At the screening I attended, the film got a standing ovation! Renee Zellweger manages to pull off some very funny moments, even when being splashed by a car, skydiving into a pig pen, or building the spirits of innmates at a foreign jail after she was framed for carrying drugs.
