Another scary movie hit town during the Halloween timeframe when people expect blood and gore. James Wan directs this intricate tale about a deviously intelligent game executed by a criminal mind preaching the value of life by grizzly means.

Gary Elwes, Danny Glover, Monica Potter and Dina Meyer star in this who-done-it-thriller with many twists and turns. It is a more intelligent entry than most blood and gore flicks. But it has too much blood and killing for my taste. The gore had to be toned down dramatically to move from a NC-17 rating to an R rating.
