Talk about a big cast and an unusual story, this film may amuse and confuse. Jason Schwartzman, Dustin Hoffman, Isabelle Huppert, Jude Law, Lily Tomlin, Mark Wahlberg, and Naomi Watts all star in this cerebral comedy directed by David O. Russell. He attempts an in-your-face exploration of the meaning of life.

Dustin Hoffman and Lily Tomlin head up "an existential detective agency" that is contacted by Albert (Jason Schwartzman) after experiencing a series of strange coincidences. Their investigation brings them to Brad (Jude Law), a PR man for the Huckabees corporation and his girlfriend Dawn (Naomi Watts). The film gets crazy and seems unconnected. It has some funny moments but mostly left me cold. Go see it and judge for yourself.
