Katie Holmes and Marc Blucas star in this tale about a president's only daughter who tires of the routine. Katie is cute as a bug in this role and Marc is a handsome suitor. Michael Keaton plays her dad, the president, who is running for re-election.

The story follows first daughter (Holmes) as she begins college life with too much attention being given to her. After all, she just wants to blend in and enjoy a normal college life. But this seems impossible with so much hoopala from the press and everyone else. Her love interest centers around Marc Blucas, a secret service security guard posing as a dorm proctor.

The film is a pleasant romp and offers a look into the lives of the president and his family. The younger generation should enjoy it.
