This story follows Bernie Mack who plays a baseball pro who comes out of retirement because he finds, due to a statistical error, his record of 3000 hits is off by 3. The problem is the fact it is 9 years later and he is 47 years old. How can he get 3 more hits and keep his record.

Mr. 3000 fights to get back in shape and make a comeback with the struggling Milwaukee brewers. Can he take the heat from his teammates and fans to help this team he let down before and regain his record at the same time. You will see a lot of fun clips from TV talk show notables such as Jay Leno, Larry King and several others. Sounds like a good struggle for a difficult task. Come see how Bernie Mack fares as Mr. 3000, a fun baseball comeback film.

Did you know Kansas City's own George Brett is among the 25 players that have actually hit the magic 3000 mark?
