| Robert Redford brings to the screen a perfect couple, Wayne and Eileen Hayes (Robert Redford, Helen Mirren). An intruder kidnaps Wayne in broad daylight from the Hayes peaceful Pittsburgh estate. An FBI investigation follows and it kind of reminds you of the TV show "Without a Trace". Willem Dafoe is great as the kidnapper and Redford is in top form. The movie is full of twists and turns as Wayne tries to negotiate his release and the kidnappers go for a large ransom. Peter Jan Brugge directs this nail biting mystery. |
