Steven Spielberg directs Tom Hanks in this story based on a factual incident. An international traveler arrives in an airport and cannot leave. It seems his country went out of existence while he is air bound. When he lands in the U.S. he cannot get through customs and thus becomes a full-time resident of the airport. Tom Hanks pulls off another brilliant piece of acting that is touching and very funny. The very beautiful Catherine Zeta-Jones co stars and Stanley Tucci, Chi McBride, and Diego Luna are included in the cast. You leave the theatre satisfied you have seen an excellent feel- good movie. The first half of the film is about survival and will certainly bring back images of "Cast Away". Viktor Navorski is a survivor who learns English by comparing travel guides and learns unusual ways to earn money in order to survive. Spielberg has brought us a pleasant, absorbing movie that should keep a smile on your face. Hanks will win you over as Viktor.
