This is a spoof of sport movies with a misfit dodgeball team taking on the meanest team anywhere. Sounds like they need a miracle. Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Christine Taylor star. Although the film is kind of silly, you get a lot of laughs along the way.

The story's protagonist, Peter LaFleur (Vince Vaughn), is a charismatic underachiever and proprietor of a rundown gym called Average Joe's. The clientele is made up of some wild characters.

The gym catches the eye of White Goodman (Ben Stiller), the egomaniacal owner of Globo Gym, an elite fitness gym. He tries for a hostile takeover, but agrees to a showdown dodgeball competition to decide the fate of the little gym. Can the underdogs pull off a miracle or will they fall under the domination and hostile takeover by the big shots? Take in this movie and find out for yourself. The first week out this film was #1 with 30 million dollars in sales. Several young kids in my family saw it and loved the action, comedy and pulse of the film.
