This amazing documentary is presented on the huge Imax screen and feels like a real live "Lion King".
Filmmakers Tim Liversedge and Richard Jones set up shop at a remote water hole in the middle of Africa's vast Kalahari Desert. For over a year, they followed a family of lions up close and personal. What a great film!
Take this opportunity to see this amazing film. The King has two lionesses and enjoys a life of ease in the shade while the females do the hunting. Although their water hole draws vast numbers of zebras, springboks, fowls and other animals, it is no easy task to catch this prey. Those who own cats will see how similar the lioness acts as they prowl close to the ground with their tail moving. The kill is quick and sudden.
The King mates with the older lioness and has a litter of five. A new lion starts prowling around and the old King has to scare him off. A bitter fight between the new and old lion eventually happens. National Geographic produced this film that is a pleasure to watch. Catch amazing sunsets, shimmering heat waves, dust storms and other fabulous nighttime shots.
