Hugh Jackman stars as the famous vampire killer up against a number of famous monsters. Director Stephen Somers who brought us the two block busters "The Mummy" and "The Mummy Returns", tackles Universal monsters who battle a lone force of good: Van Helsing.

Journey back to 19th Century London, Rome, Paris and Transylvania- where mankind faces terrifying dangers from evil in a multitude of forms. Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, the Wolf Man and others come to life in this new film. Van Helsing (Jackman), the legendary monster hunter born in the pages of Bram Stoker's Dracula travels to Transylvania to bring down the powerful Count Dracula (Richard Roxburgh) and joins forces with Anna Valerious (Kate Beckinsale) to defeat the vampire. David Wenham plays Carl, a friar sidekick who provides a good deal of humor along the way. Elena Anaya, Silvia Colloca and Josie Maran are Dracula's 3 gorgeous brides who will stop at nothing to help their master rule over a world of havoc. The action is nonstop much like in the Mummy films and comes to an exciting finale with a huge battle in Dracula's castle.
