Director Devin Smith brings us a touching family film from Miramax. The film weaves an intriguing story about a single dad (Ben Affleck) who sacrifices his hotshot PR job in Manhattan to raise his 7-year-old daughter (Raques Castro) in his father's (George Carlin) modest home in an average neighborhood. Liv Tyler is the love interest he meets in a video store. Raques is wonderful as the daughter. She will steal your heart away. George Carlin makes a great Grandpa. I laughed at many times during the movie and found it a fabulous family film. Ben loses his first wife at childbirth (Jennifer Lopez) and goes through a hard adjustment when the baby comes home. George Carlin shares his home and helps with the babysitting duties for his son. Ben is back in top form in this outstanding film. Please see it!
