| Touchstone Pictures bring us a comedy starring Tom Hanks, who plays an eccentric charlatan professor Goldthwait Higginson Dorr, Ph.D., who masterminds an elaborate plot to rob a casino. He rents a room from a little old lady near the casino and handpicks a gang to help with the heist by digging a tunnel to the Casino loot. He introduces his gang as a church band who use the basement for practice. Irma P. Hall plays the little church going lady and is a real hoot. The bumbling gang eventually tips their hand and Mrs. Munson threatens to spoil their plans. Will the gang do her in or will the little old lady outsmart this cunning leader with 5 hand picked experts? Come along and follow the action in this Coen brother's film. Hank's last 7 movies have all grossed over 100 million dollars. |
