This exciting thriller is written and directed by the well-respected David Mamet. Val Kilmer plays Robert Scott. a career military officer working for a secretive special op. force, assigned to find Laura Newton (Kristen Bell), the missing daughter of the president. He is paired with Novice Curtis (Derek Luke) and they soon stumble on a white slavery ring, which may have a connection to Laura's disappearance. Ed O'Neill and William H. Macy play political operatives who know more than they want to divulge about the abduction. What is great about this film is that it unfolds in a way that is not obvious. You find yourself glued to the screen as this story takes shape. It keeps you guessing all the way.
