Ashley Judd, Samuel L. Jackson, and Andy Garcia star in a new thriller from Paramount. Ashley Judd plays newly promoted police inspector Jessica Shepard searching for a serial killer. She is shocked to discover all the victims are men she recently dated. Her partner Andy Garcia behaves strangely, and the police commissioner Samuel L. Jackson, who has raised Jessica after his partner's death, pulls some twists. The clues point to an unlikely suspect that sends chills up her spine. The investigation becomes more and more twisted and the police commissioner is being asked to remove her from the investigation. Philip Kaufman directs this film. I found it enjoyable and it kept me on the edge of my seat until the final minutes.
