Director Tim Burton weaves a tale about Edward Bloom played by Albert Finney, who it seems is a teller of tall tales himself. He is attempting reconciliation with his alienated son (Billy Cradup) Ewan McGregor plays the young version of Edward Bloom who is seen in a series of unbelievable tales about his life. This film is based on a novel by Daniel Wallace. You get to meet Giants, witches and other supernatural and metaphysical phenomena. In addition to Finney, Cruidup and McGregor, the film features Jessica Lange, Helena Bonham Carter, Alison Lohman, Steve Buscemi and Robert Gullaume. A fine cast indeed.
