| In this Disney live action retelling of the famous fable, Captain Hook, Tinker Bell and all your favorites are back in a high tech remake. The main stars are Jason Isaacs, Jeremy Sumpter, Richard Briers, Olivia Williams, Lynn Redgrave and Ludivine Sagnier as Tink. P. J. Hogan directs. A lasting tale of adventure, discovery and dreams, Peter Pan has thrilled audiences around the world since it premiered on a London stage 100 years ago. Yes, J. M. Barrie's classic story of the boy who wouldn't grow up - and the girl whose family insists that she must - is now fully realized on-screen. Sumpter has the lead role of Peter Pan and Captain Hook, the legendary pirate, is played by Jason Isaacs. Are you ready to journey through the magic of movies to Neverland and witness the fairies, the pirates and the battle between Hook and Pan. Rachel Hurd-Wood plays Wendy Darling. Confronting depraved pirates, malicious mermaids, a monstrous croc and, worst of all, Capt. Hook. The ongoing battle between Peter and Hook escalates to a thrilling climax in this new version of Peter Pan. My favorite is Richard Briers who plays Smee, Hook's right hand man. The young boys reminded me of The Little Rascals. This will make an enjoyable family night out. |
