A spectacular array of special effects and action await those who have looked forward to this third installment of Matrix. The first Matrix movie was released in 1999 and held audiences spellbound. It was fresh and creative, different from other movies of its kind. The first sequel, "The Matrix Reloaded," was exciting and ended with impending doom from the machines, which were burrowing down to the last human outpost-- the city of Zion. The first Matrix film was made for $63 million and grossed over $375 million worldwide. "The Matrix Reloaded" was a box-office smash making more than $735 million worldwide. Neo (Keanu Reeves) is a hacker who was rescued from the Matrix by Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne). Neo is the One, according to the Oracle's prophecy (Mary Alice) who will free humanity from the Matrix and end the war between man and the Machines. Meanwhile Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving), the self-replicating bad guy whose power has grown to superhuman levels, plans to stop Neo. Carrie-anne Moss plays Trinity, the love interest. It reminds me a little of "Empire Strikes Back" with the enemy attacking a brave stand by the good guys. Strap yourself in for some of the most fantastic action ever. Matrix Revolutions' rocks!
