This is an excellent film reminiscent of Fame with good music, good acting and just plain fun. Based on an actual summer camp for young actors, singers and dancers, "Camp" is the dramatic, hilarious and show-stopping story of a group of extraordinary kids growing up and discovering who they really are. As the kids work under the pressure of putting together ambitious productions, they rely on guest director Bert Hanley (Don Dixon). Bert had a Broadway smash ten years ago, but now has fallen on hard times. Through the kids' passion and commitment, his talent and spirit is revived. So come along and enjoy the kids of Camp Ovation in this uplifting and contagious show. It is crammed full of production numbers and real life moments in a film you will enjoy. It was a pleasant surprise to find a production this enjoyable.
