| The big green guy makes it to the big screen. Many of you will remember the popular TV series. The rampaging Hulk is the alter ego of Bruce Banner (Eric Bana), a scientist involved in a lab accident. Whenever Banner gets upset, the Hulk comes out. Banner's fellow scientist, Betty Ross (Jennifer Connelly), is also his girlfriend, and Sam Elliot plays her father, an Army general involved in top secret experiments. Nick Nolte plays Hulk's father. Ang Lee, the gifted director, makes this film work. The close ups are very realistic but the long shots are still somewhat jerky. Plenty of action in this action flick which runs over 2 hours. Hulk is 100% computer generated. Just like Spiderman and X-men, this Marvel comic character should fare well. |
