| The 81st Academy Awards kicked off with a stunning performance by Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman. Hugh turned out to be a very entertaining host and the show had many surprises. Changes to this years Oscars included genre clips from all movies, even non-nominees from 2008. Offering a look back at the entire film year and giving credit to all films, which was a delightful surprise. Also new the Supporting Actor/Actress and Lead Actor/Actress’ were presented by a selection of five pass winners who announced each nominee and thanked them for their contribution to the industry. At which time the winner was announced.The 2009 Oscar winners are:
