| The Kansas City Science Fiction and Fantasy Society, Inc. hosts its 35th Anniversary Celebration of the Society's Film Fest on Saturday, July 22, 2006.
The Society is officially renaming the film Fest to "The Vincent Koehler Film Fest" in his honor. You will remember Vince contributed Entertainment Spectrum articles for the Johnson's County Gazette until his death in May of '05.
The objective this year is again A Century of Animation, Part II. The Film Festival will be held at UMKC's Multimedia Room in the School of Education Building at 52nd and Holmes, Kansas City, MO.
Admission if FREE and so is the parking. Hours are 6:15 PM to 11:30 PM. The program is family appropriate until 10PM, after that the films may be R rated. Concession available.
The program is held in conjunction with the University Program to further the Film Arts. You will find it a fun evening as well as educational. Bring the family and enjoy the event. www.vkff.org
